Gladstone Foundation Gladstone Foundation Home Submit 4th Grant Round EOI Contact Us The Gladstone Foundation manages the voluntary contributions made by infrastructure project proponents in Gladstone towards social infrastructure in the region. These voluntary contributions will help ensure there is sufficient social infrastructure to meet the needs of the region’s growing population. This will enhance the liveability of Gladstone communities and help build more stable workforces. The foundation was established as a perpetual trust in February 2011. The voluntary contributions are paid to a trust fund overseen by the Public Trustee of Queensland, who has ultimate responsibility for the investment and distribution of foundation funds. Grants 2015-16 4th Grant Round (commences May 2016) Closing date for applications is 5pm – 10 June 2016. The Foundation has been established for specific purposes which are for the benefit of the Gladstone Region and all grants must solely be for:- The relief of poverty The relief of needs of the aged The relief of sickness or distress The advancement of religion The advancement of education The provision of childcare services on a not-for-profit basis Other charitable purposes for the benefit of the Gladstone Region Because the Foundation is a charity, grants might only be made to:- A registered charity; or For a purpose which is charitable. Expressions of interest are encouraged from: registered charities; and from those who are not registered charities, however the Foundation asks that particular attention be applied to ensuring that any expression of interest will conform (solely) with the charitable purposes of the Trust. Click here to submit your EOI Form ? 3rd Grant Round (commenced June 2015) Subject to the execution of their grant agreements, the Gladstone Community Linking Agency Inc, Gladstone Men’s Shed Association Inc, Roseberry Community Services Limited and Churches of Christ in Queensland’s Shed 19 program are set to benefit from $3.18 million dollars’ worth of grants from the Gladstone Foundation.
